“No Play No Gain” Kindergarten Social Emotional Learning Project
【戲有益】幼稚園社交情緒學習計劃  (2016-17)

Project Objectives 計劃目的

• To promote whole-child development in early childhood education and arouse the attention of parents and teachers to the importance of play in children’s social skills development
• To increase parents’ awareness of the social development of young children
• To educate parents with the skills to design and play games with children in order to build up parent-child relationship and develop children’s social skills
• To enhance teachers’ skills in playing face-to-face interactive games with children
• To improve young children’s play competencies and social skill
• To conduct research and evaluation on the impact of the project on parents’ and teachers’ beliefs about playing interactive games with children and in children’s social development
• To provide learning materials on game education for parents and teachers

• 在幼兒教育中推廣全孩發展，以及提高家長及老師注視遊戲在兒童社交發展的重要性。
• 加強家長對幼兒的社交發展的關注。
• 教導家長如何設計及有效地與兒童遊戲的技巧，進一步建立親子關係及發展兒童社交技巧。
• 提高老師們與兒童玩面對面互動遊戲時的技巧。
• 提升幼兒之遊戲能力及社交技巧。
• 家長和老師對兒童玩互動遊戲對兒童的社交發展的理念進行研究和評估。
• 為家長及老師們提供遊戲教育的學習材料。

Project Update 計劃進展

There will be seminars on promoting the concept of Game Education to parents and teachers of students from kindergartens from March to August 2017 on Saturday 2pm – 5pm.
